I have a Linksys BEFsx 41 Router, which has its DDNS updater enabled. In the compatibility list I could find this kind of router. It says that the update has done successfully, and I can use my Sftp server from the outside. However, I receive an account expiry warning every month, and have to login to the homepage every time. Why is that? |

It sounds like the firmware revision you have isn't well behaved. Try a firmware upgrade as the first option. Today I received another warning... It seems, that either I upgrade my suscription and pay for it, or just click on the link each month.

Alternatively replace your router with one that is known to be good. It WAS good until may, this year, for several years. I only receive these emails recently.

Thank you for the fast reply! I upgraded the Frimware to 1.52.16.4. Hopefully this will solve the problem.
