I have a remote camera system set up, all perfect except the IP address for the camera harddrive which I have entered into this DYNDNS keeps changing to my computer IP address. Thus not allowing access into the cameras? Anyone know how to stop this from happening please?

1 Answer:

In case you are talking about your public (WAN) IP address, then read this. If it is about the private (LAN) IP address for your cameras, then assign a static internal IP address to them. These IP addresses must be outside the DHCP IP address range of your router. Check the manuals of your cameras about how to do this. Check at the router's admin interface for DHCP or in the manual what the DHCP IP address range is.
