Do not respond with a comment. This has no reliable notification. What port are you expecting your server to listen to? If it's not port 80, and you are accessing it with a browser, don't forget to specify the port in the URL, e.g.
And as said, what you're seeing may be your router's admin interface. See this question. |

That depends on what you're trying to access. If the device or web server you're trying to connect to requires authentication then yes, it is normal. If it isn't then it may not be normal. It could be that you're seeing the router instead of the device you're trying to connect to. Are you testing from inside or outside of your local network (all testing with the hostname must be done from outside)? im testing it outside. im trying to set up my dvr.

I am having a similar issue. I have 2 IP cameras connected via m dyndns account. Until yesterday I could log onto them without problem, now it is asking for my account name and password and when I enter them (checked they are correct via my account details) it just keep popping up and will not allow me to access. Any ideas? Thanks. Please ask your own question and we'll try to help you.
