I've read the step-by step Wiki guide on how to setup remote viewing on my DVR. I am able to connect to it via LAN. The problem I have is with port forwarding, how do I do it? I have a ZTE 831CII modem and router, so how do I set up both to have static IPs and to forward ports to my DVR? |

Is it one device which is both a modem and a router, or are there two devices -- one modem and one router? Have you found it listed on http://PortForward.com? Regarding static IP configuration on the DVR; they are all different. Please consult the user manual for information on how to do this. If you know how to set the network configuration, but you have difficulties knowing what info to fill out, a screenshot of the configuration screen would make it simple for us to help you with that. |
