I just registered for a free dyndns host service and am trying to set up port forwarding to enable VNC for my three home Macs. Can some please walk a non-IT person through how to set this up? Can you please include how to enable remote access to my Airport Extreme? Thank you very much in advance. |

The http://PortForward.com guide for configuring the Airport EXtreme for VNC can be found here. You'll need to ensure that each Mac uses different ports for VNC (since you can only forward a port to a single device) and repeat the process for each Mac, using the different ports the second and third time. Once you've done that you should be able to access your Airport Extreme's configuration from any of the Macs that have the administration tool installed, once you VNC onto them. |
|
Also do not forget to install our Mac version of the DynDNS Updater to keep you IP address up-to-date since the Airport Extreme router does not have an update client built-in. |
