I want to use Google Mail on my domain. I Have tried to add this mx record but it doesn't allow me: 5:alt1.aspmx.l.google.com When I click on "Create record" it says: Invalid data for this DNS record type I have select type : MX |

That's because your record is invalid. Try entering it without the leading |
|
And when/if you do add the MX records from the expert interface, drop the colon (:) character. You should enter priority followed by a whitespace followed by the MX hostname, for example: |
