Hi, I'm having problem updating the IP on DynDNS with my Linksys WRT54GL running on OpenWRT (installed package: luci-app-ddns 0.8.8-1). When I update the IP manually via my DynDNS-account everything works just fine - alas the automatic update doesn't. Now I just stumpled upon your post: http://www.dyndnscommunity.com/questions/3760/update-clients-known-to-not-work-with-dyndns-com I'm a bit confused. Does the problem with failed IP updates refer to the 54GL als well, or is it really just on the 54GS? If my 54GL with OpenWRT has the same poblem... is there any fix or workaround? thanks for your help |

OpenWRT is an alternative router software. Since you're not running the manufacturer's software, it wouldn't apply to you even if your specific model were listed as having DDNS issues. Check the configuration of the update client and its logs. |
