General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I can view my cameras in my network, no problem, working on all computers. When i like to see my cameras from the internet, he installs an active-x on my computer(so i suppose this active-x commes from my dvr, which gaves me the inssurence that my portforwarding in my router works) , he runs the active-x, which is a user login to my dvr, and than my problem begins: normaly i have to fill in my ip adres of the dvr wich is 192.168.0.xxx but instead of that the field is already filled in with my url account that i got from http://www.dyndns.com, being http://xxxxxx.dyndns.org and it is impossible to delete this on the userlogin. What is it that i'm doing wrong? Regards stef

That's rather a question for your DVR vendor support. Similar things have more often reported here. See the questions tagged "dvr" and the forum search results for "activex".

If your DVR reflects your DynDNS hostname when connecting from outside using it, then this is rather convenient and normal. You don't have to enter anything anymore to reach your DVR, because you are already accessing it.

I have trouble understanding the question, and you provide extremely little information. Please create a new question instead of adding it as an answer to another person's question. When you do, provide as many details as you can, and we will try to help you.
