General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

Hi - I have a question about ordering one of the VPS services.

Is it possible to have multiple domain names to resolve to a single VPS instance?

For example, if I setup a master VPS with the domain name http://example.com, can I resolve numerous sites to the same VPS instance:

client1.com http://client2.com http://client3.com etc

to resolve to the static IP of the VPS box - is this possible on the dydns service?

Basically, I'm looking for a single place to manage many client websites without having to look after the hardware / infrastructure.

Thanks, Scott.

1 Answer:

Yes, that is not a problem at all. You can point as many hostnames as you'd like to the static IP of your VPS instance.

Obviously, the reverse DNS entry for the IP address can only point to one hostname, and if that hostname is part of a Custom DNS zone, you will get that zone for free.
