Hi everyone, I've managed to set up the whole system after 2 weeks of studying and asking around here and there on how to set it up. But I have another problem. I can access my DVR remotely via the internet from the office but I only manage to get connection for "Jpeg Viewer" only i.e. streaming of still pictures only. Any attempt to have a live video streaming via the remote desktop application failed with an error message that says "Failed to initialize application". What does this mean? And how can I resolve this? Is it due to:

It sounds like the live streaming application is your problem. That it isn't working may mean that:
The manufacturer may be able to help or some of the DVR specific forums may be able to help - just remember to provide details of the DVR (make, model and revision). |
