My office mate has been trying to transfer the domain http://ranacogroup.com from http://verio.com. It seems, on the web interface of dyndns, the domain is pre-activated. Does it mean that the domain is not yet transferred to dyndns nameserver. If it is so, how do I do it so that I can configure the zone and the MX |

From here the zone seems to be properly delegated to DynDNS. Have you transferred the domain registration as well or only the DNS hosting? Note that transfers may take some time to complete, and it can take around 24 hours or more before the majority of DNS resolvers around the Internet have refreshed their records. If the zone is listed as pre-activated, that means you should already be able to add records in your DynDNS Custom zone. And further, http://ranacogroup.com/ shows: "It works!" :-)
