General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

When I send the update dns request to http://members.dyndns.org on port 80(HTTP), I get error/status in the text section of HTTP response. But when I send a request over a secure http connection on port 443(SSL), I get an empty response even though my IP is successfully updated. What could be wrong?

Thanks in advance, Shrirang

Are you using an SSL capable client to make the SSL request? What update client are you using?

I have written my own SSL capable update client. Since the dns entry on the server is updated successfully, I see nothing wrong with my update query.

PS: I am unable to login with my dyndns id hence I am using my google OpenID.

Thanks, Shrirang

You may want to contact DynDNS and ask them then, since this is a user to user forum.
