How do I use a custom public port for Remote Desktop Connections (RDC)? We would like to avoid having 3389 open on the WAN side of our network. With a static WAN IP we would just put the port number after a colon, e.g., 0.0.0.0:port# in our RDC client. How do we use a non-standard public port with DynDNSalias? Thanks. |

By changing the listening port on the terminal server/RDP service on the relevant server/computer box. What Windows version are you running? |
