Why can't I log into my work computer from my home computer? |

Most likely your workplace's network is protected by a firewall, and the needed ports are blocked. To be able to do what you want, inbound ports would need to be opened to reach any devices within your work network from outside, e.g. TCP port 3389 for RDP. A VPN would be another alternative, preferred for corporate environments, but this also requires ports to be opened on the firewall(s). In case you are the admin of this network, you can do it yourself, else you had to involve the related network administrators. |

I would recommend you talk to the administrator of your work network. They will be able to tell you what the restrictions are and whether you are able (or even permitted) to do what you're trying to do. |
