To clarify Cry Havok's response, you can purchase just the domain registration with http://DynDNS.com; however, as he notes, you require some form of DNS service for the domain to function - our own Custom DNS, third-party DNS, or even your own installation of BIND. Our parking service does not include HTTP redirection. |

You need 3 things, domain registration (the domain itself), Custom DNS (which allows you to use the domain) and somewhere to host it (which may be on a home computer, or a VPS like SpringServer. You can't just buy a domain - you need DNS to be able to use it. |
