while the webhop works just fine I see that (using IE 8) the cloaking seems not to fully work. The original typed url remains in the browser where I typed it, but the IE tab title contains the redirected url text.

I would have thought the original url would be in both places.

When i set this up I left the cloaked url text blank assuming it would display the original typed url.

Am i missing something?

When i set this up I left the cloaked url text blank assuming it would display the original typed url... I would have thought the original url would be in both places.

As you can see, it does not, because this information is probably not available to the cloaking frame page (but could possibly be made available with more programming efforts). The only information you can enter is the Redirect URL and the Cloaked title. If you leave the latter empty, it uses the first.

Whatever you type in the Cloaked title field appears as title of the page. The original URL remains in the address line of the browser - either way, as windchaserb said. So, if you want to retain the "original URL" as page title, simply enter this URL into the Cloaked title field.

Thanks... I misunderstood the effect of leaving the cloaking field blank. I changed it and it seems to be ok now.
