General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

Hi there,

I have a secondary server at http://dyndns.com, changed some entries in the primary dns (serviced by http://editdns.net) yesterday, and when I go looking today, its still not refreshed and tells me that I have to wait for another 37h for the next automatic refresh. How can I force a faster refresh? I already tried setting the primary IP to something else and back, but its still on 37h.

Cheers, Andres

1 Answer:

You would want to set a lower refresh value in your SOA record at your primary DNS provider, and/or you should make sure your primary DNS provider is sending notifies when changes are made.
