I am using aplayer for the iphone and have set up my dvr and mobile phone and router. My dvr under network setup gives me these options for static but does not really tell me much of what to put in the blocks. Port:, Web Port:, IP Address:, Subnet Mask:, Gateway:, DNS:,. It also has DDNS setup which when setup sends updates every second or so which locks my DynDns out for abuse so I have updating through router. When I try to access from iphone just get connecting. My DVR is model D9216v |

Start here which walks you through the port forwarding process. For IP, subnet mask, gateway and DNS the best thing to do is to configure your router to provide a static DHCP allocation (exactly how you do that depends on the router). What to enter for the Port and Web Port settings should be covered by the manual. If the manual makes no sense to you, edit your question and include a link to a PDF copy of the manual. |
