General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

when i opened the http://dyndns.com and went to hostname, there were 2 ip address which shown 2 different ip number. i guess the ip address was the older one and current location's ip address was the updated one, the same with the ip address in my dyndns updater 4.1.6. as long as the ip address are different than the updated one, i cannot see my cctv video. so i have to manually update the ip address. question is what caused the difference? how can i fix it? thanks.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you mention two IP addresses on your hostname. A hostname can only point to one IP address. Perhaps you're thinking about the text shown below the IP address field, saying something like "Your current location's IP address is #.#.#.#"? That's just an informational notice, telling you what IP address your browser seems to be connecting from at the moment.

It sounds like DynDNS Updater is not updating your hostname as it should. Just to confirm, do you have DynDNS Updater running on a computer within the same network as the CCTV system? What does its log file say? You can click to view the log from DynDNS Updater's configuration window.
