I am just setting up my XMAPP and DynDNS sevices. I have everything set up correctly (to my knowledge). I am on my host machine and trying to go to hostname.dyndns.org and I get a prompt to enter a user name and a password. I have tried every user name and password that I set up but none of them work. What gives? What user name/password should I be using? No Havok, all of my testing has been done locally so far. I will read your guide and make sure that I have the ports forwarded properly and let you know what I find out. Thanks for the help! |

It may be that you're connecting to your router - some routers don't forward traffic on their management port. You can either forward another port (and remember to specify it when you connect, or use a WebHop) or change the management port on your router. If you were to provide your hostname we could tell you what the device identifies itself as. Hmmm, Edit your question (or post another "answer") if you want more help. |

Thanks! My hostname is http://seeley4859.dyndns.org It is entireley possible that I screwed up the port forwarding. I am at work now so I will check it when I get home. |
