Im trying to connect from my Win Vista computer (client) to my Win 7 Ultimate (server) using Remote Desktop. However, every time I log in it sees the correct User name, but the password is wrong. To summarize my steps, I've checked the port forwarding (3389) from portchecker, successfully updated my dynamic ip, turned on Remote Desktop, and opened the port in windows firewall. However, i still cannot connect. I am pretty sure it is not a router issue; I tried putting the computer in DMZ mode for a bit and it still did not work. Please respond! |

Well, none of this is a problem relating to the DynDNS services. What does the log on the server show as being the reason for rejecting the connection? |

Hi, I had the same problem here some hours ago. Check that you enabled "Allow remote connections" from Advance Settings on System Properties. Then, check that the user you are trying to log with is under the Admitted List. Now, you can log in from Remote Desktop. |
