General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I've setup my dns and input the information onto the dvr's network settings. I still cannot see my dvr externally. It does not need software it is a web browser based viewer. The port the dvr traffics through is 80 so i dont think theres any pinholes needed. Is there something i'm missing maybe in the router settings to allow the dvr to be seen?

I'd start with this guide. If you have problems please edit your question to include:

  • Your DynDNS hostname
  • The WAN IP shown in the management page of your router
  • The make, model and version number of your router
  • The make, model and version number of your DVR
  • Confirmation that the DVR works on the local network
  • Confirmation that you've configured the DVR with a fixed IP on your network and that the netmask and default gateway are the same as other devices on your network
