Hi, I subscribe for a free DynDNS I've to controll a pc that is at home from my office I've install the VNC server at my home pc and the VNC viewer in my office pc Then I set a ip to my DynDNS the ip is created from a mobile umts/hdspa usb modem so it is a dynamic ip connection then I went to my office pc and I put into the viewer the DynDNS and all works well but if for some reason the usb modem reconnects the ip changes and the connections losts. How I have to do? Thanks in advance! Alberto |

Hello albertopriore, From what you have posted, it sounds as though you do not have an update client enabled to update your DynDNS hostname with your home networks current public IP address. This link will explain the need for an update client. You may want to check the documentation for your router, as it may have DDNS update capabilities.
