[Closed] Airport Extreme Drops Connection

I have my airport extreme setup using the DNS update protocol and TSIG security. My zone is setup up the way it suggests in this tutorial. Every time I set it up, it last for only a few days and then I can no longer ping my hostname from outside my firewall. I have to go back in and re-enter my TSIG passwords to get it working again.

It sounds like it isn't updating the hostname. Have you checked that you're running the most current firmware available?

Hi im a complete noob to this and am having similar trouble. Everytime i reset my airport or my isp gives me a new ip it is not updated in my dns, I paid for a domain name and dyndns standard service and set it up as per the guide but as soon as im issued a new ip im screwed and have to manually update it, however my free dns work fine?
