I've confirmed the external IP address and everything works fine going strait through the IP, but using the DNS host address I setup almost a week ago, I get nothing. Is there a way to direct the host to a certain port? Appreciate the help, Brian |

You probably did not keep your dynamic IP address updated at DynDNS with an Update Client. To go to a certain port with a browser, you need to append/specify the port, e.g. http://yourname.dyndns.org:12345/ or http://123.213.12.32:12345/ |

I was adding the port after the last "/" . Just a slight stupid mistake, thanky ou |
Using ping it directs me to the appropriate IP address, but I cannot get it directed to the DVR, which is on port 51000
