I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the “freezing” of my remote desktop. I suspect it is due to some kind of feedback, leading me to believe that something is not set properly at home. This does not seem to be a problem with the internet connection, as I can “surf” the internet with IE or Firefox while the RD screen is frozen. I am running Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) on my home computer, while the office desktop computer runs Windows Vista Enterprise. The home desktop is hardwired to a Netgear wireless router (wndr3700). The problem seems to occur more often with specific actions of the office computer. This morning, I was filling out a survey via IE. Each time I hit the button to continue to the next page, the screen froze. I also have noticed it happening (more than once) when I run a spell check in Outlook. I suspect this is an issue with my new desktop. I did not have this problem with my prior setup. |

Regrettably this isn't a forum for general help with your PC, but with the DynDNS services. There are a number of other forums, such as those at http://WebHostingTalk.com or the SuperUser Stack Exchange site, where you can get help. From what you've said you should look first at the remote system since the problem is most likely there. |
